ROAD TO ASPHYXIA documents the intense creative journey behind ASPHYXIA by KARELIA’S DISCORD, featuring raw reflections from each member on the album’s conception.

TITLE CARDS

/ DESIGN & CONCEPT

The title card adopts a monochromatic design to convey a somber, immersive tone, symbolic of sinking into emotion and introspection.
Influences include contemporary film, art, and traditional Japanese ink painting (Sumi-e).

A bespoke theme was composed to sync with the pacing, enhancing the emotional flow.

Post processing techniques were utilised and designed to simulate real camera lens chromatic aberration and lens distortions to deliver the dream-like feeling to the viewer.
